"Brock Buster:
After BRE (Brock Racing Enterprises) built, raced, and won two SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) 2.5 Trans Am Championships with Datsun 510's, BRE team owner Peter Brock decided to build his own personal street-racer version with all the special tweaks that had made his race cars so successful and famous. Known as the "Brock Buster", most visually obvious from a stock 510 are the flared fenders which permit use of the wider and lighter American Racing Wheels. Like the BRE team cars, the Borck Buster was equipped with production based 180cc "L series" Datsun single overhead cam engines."
